New Life
We were greeted with a surprise one Sunday morning. Overnight, a Morning Dove made her nest and laid 2 eggs literally right next to our back door, which we use a lot. We've had a lot of fun watching her and developing a mutual relationship with her. We can get within a foot and she won't budge. Three weeks later, we finally got to meet her two little ones.
The chick on the left has his/her momma's temperament, but the one on the right was all puffed up and doesn't like us too close.
They are now too big to fit under her. We put a pizza box under them to catch their mess...which wasn't a problem till the little ones arrived. The plight of all mothers.
Viva la more
Allison's concert for the Southwest Missouri Children's Choir was held at the Gillioz Theather downtown this spring. She did an incredible job. She has come a long way out of her comfort zone and even tried out for one of the solos! I'm really looking forward to re-visiting the choir scene, but for the time being, Alli wants to explore other activities.
However, the best flower of all was the edible ones!
We are very proud of our star singer.

Very First Post
Hello. I am the Princesses' mom. This is my first attempt/look at blogging so friends and family can check in to see how fast Princess Alli and Princess Rachel are growing up. This is also a strong nudge from my sister to try out the blogging world. Thank you all for joining me and my family on our life journey.
